Hi Ya’ll,

First and foremost I want to congratulate all those that graduated from NYU this year; Class of 2009!

Secondly I want to  reaquaint all of those that have been following us at all of our media outlets (whether facebook, myspace, list serve or here at our website). At Galltone we are commited to serving the growing music scence at NYU, creating compliation albums featuring a slew of various artists as well as putting on shows on campus that introduce the NYU community to these up and coming artists.

With that being said there are certainly many changes that have occured at Galltone. As this year has come to a close one generation of Gallatone has graduated, leaving the reigns to a new crop of individuals ready to forge Gallatone ahead as well as maintain the legacy of quality that Gallatone has become known for. We remain commited to music artists at NYU and work diligently to assist them in creating, maintianing and expanding thier base here at NYU.

Gallatone will be hosting its release show for GALLATONE VOLUME 5: THE GREEN ALBUM on Thursday, May 1 at the National Underground! The club, located at 159 E. Houston, was recently opened by singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw. Come out for some great music from this year’s Gallatone artists. For more info on the show, please visit our shows page.

Gallatone will also be hosting a booth at NYU’s Strawberry Fest on Friday, May 2. Be sure to stop by for some surprise performances from this year’s artists!
